It
is many years since Hub-UK was first launched. It has
been created from recipes contributed form all over
the world, from professionals and amateurs alike. A
great many of the recipes do not have any details as
to who sent them in or from where they came. It would
be a shame not to share them with you for this reason
alone.
This
is one such recipe. If you know where it originated,
or perhaps it is even yours, let me know and I will
add the necessary credits and acknowledgements.

Ingredients
2
cup sugar
1 1/2 cup melted butter
4 1/2 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
3 x eggs
1 x vanilla (optional)
Method
- Combine
sugar with melted butter.
- Sift
flour and baking powder.
- Add
eggs alternately with flour to creamed mixture of
butter and sugar.
- Divide
dough into 4 parts.
- Add
one of the following to each part:
1/2 cup coconut
1/4 cup peanut butter
or nuts
1/2 cup dates
1 tsp each cinnamon
and nutmeg
- Roll
dough separately in wax paper or put into moulds.
- Slice
and bake for 7 to 10 minutes at 400°F.
